He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan; his children, Marla Ripperger (Neal), Mitchell Ushkow (Sarah), Michael Ushkow (Lois), Mara Aronson (David), Ken Epstein (Jana) and Randi Smith (Mark); his grandchildren, Adam, Shai, Darci, Matthew, Jeffrey, Samantha, Jason, Evan, Aidan, Saul and Clayton; his great grandchildren, Noam, Esther, Emmanuel and Brielle; his siblings, Joel Ushkow and Janie Gilman (Iro); and his cousin Ada Berger.
