He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Redman and Minette Redman Coven; and his brother William Redman. He is survived by: his wife Irene Redman; his sons, David Redman (Siga), Daniel Redman (Olof Mathé) and Joshua Redman; his grandchildren, Stella, Sofia and Torbjörn; and his brother Frank Redman (Hallie).
