She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert E. Hakes and Doris M. Hakes (Simmons); and her siblings, Betty, Carlene, Ardith, Dorita and Harry.
She is survived by: her children, David Nelson (Nancy) of Fort Madison, IA, Brad Nelson (Mary) of West Melborn, FL, Ken Milby of Buda, IL, Paula Weber (Dave) of Princeton, IL, Pam Helmkamp (Mark) of Kewanee, IL and Deb Bowyer of Buda, IL; her sister Donelda Schafer of Mesa, AZ.; and her son-in-law Robert Bowyer. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Deborah Bowyer to dispersed at later date.
