He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edwin and Guida Cherie Grubb (Abbott); his siblings, Cheryl Dykstra and Stanley Grubb; and his great grandchild Titus Schaefer.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene "Arkie" Groenhagen DeVries; his children, Pamela Danielson (Scott) of Rogers, Minnesota, Brian Grubb (Susie) of Sharon Springs and Christopher Grubb (Heather) of Milton, Georgia; his stepchildren, Tracy Walk (Karl) of Northlake, Terri DeVries of Colorado Springs, Todd DeVries (Mary) and Tim DeVries (Laurie) of Stillman Valley, Illinois; and his siblings, Janet Becker (Jack) of Princeton, Illinois, Richard Grubb (Audrey) of Pittsburgh and Stephen Grubb (Lisa) of Amado, Arizona. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Bunker Hill Church of God, Buda or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
