She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Andersen and Edna Andersen (Erickson); her husband Charles Gaus; her daughter-in-law Renee Gaus; her sister Marion Estes; and her brother-in-law Don Schlegel.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Gaus of Buckingham, Eric Gaus (Misty) of Herscher, Vern Gaus (Toni) of Buckingham, Andrew Gaus (Jolene) of Bourbonnais and Katie Gaus of Buckingham; her sister Shirley Schlegel of Indiana; and her brother-in-law Estes of Indiana. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jensen Funeral Home (3639 E IL-17, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
