Kathleen Fortschneider Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2020, at the age of 72, Kathleen Fortschneider (Brussels, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Hillen and Irene Hillen (Siemer) of Meppen; her brothers-in-law, Ronnie Friedel, Mike Conlee and Louis Held; and her great-nephew Jacob Hagen.

She is survived by: her husband Gary Fortschneider; her friend Mary Ellen; her children, Tony Fortschneider of Brussels, Jackie Shortal (Pat) of Jerseyville, IL and Carrie Friedel (Gerald) of Batchtown, IL; her grandchildren, Sydney Hagen, Ashlee Fortschneider and Charlie Friedel; and her sisters, Pat Friedel of St. Charles, Marie Kinder (Jon Jay) of Meppen and Jane Badgely (Dave) of Alton, IL. She is also survived by daughter, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Cresswell Cemetery or South County Ambulance.
