He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Kiel and Edna Kiel (Toppmeyer); his siblings, Evelyn Burns (Raymond), Glen Kiel (Jean), Roscoe Kiel (Joan) and Dale Kiel (Erma Dell); and his in-laws, Agnes Pohlman, Clarence Pohlman, Steve, Kathleen Pohlman, Geri Pohlman and Vince Pohlman.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie Kiel (Pohlman); his grandchildren, Erica Ward, Spencer Kiel and Brandon Harris; and his in-laws, Albert Pohlman, Larry, Mary Ellen Friedel and Paulette Pohlman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gress, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home - Brussels (145 Community Ave, Brussels, IL 62013). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church - Meppen Meppen. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church - Mepen.
