He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Carson and Ethel Carson (Swofford); his wife Catherine Grace Friese; his son Daniel Jason Carson; his son-in-law Ryan McElroy; and his brothers, Lloyd and Michael Carson.
He is survived by: his children, Duane Carson (Tammy), Dana Morris (Eric) and Denise McElroy of Assumption; his sisters, Charlotte Atwood (Jim) of Brownstown, Sharon Sidwell (Paul) of Brownstown and Melody Howard (Russ) of Ramsey; his grandchildren, Kevin Morris (Jennifer), Eddie Carson (Kayla), Katie Schad (Taevan), Chloe Carson, Lucas, Gabe and Nathan McElroy; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Kassie Morris, Judah, Rosie Schad and Daniel Carson.
Memorials may be made to Liberty Cemetery or Bond Christian Service Camp, Greenville.
