We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, at the age of 61, Robbie Turner of Brownstown, Illinois, born in Vandalia, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Robbie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robbie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilton Edward and Mabel Geraldine Turner (Willis); and his siblings, Ricky Leon Turner and Regina Linette Turner. He is survived by: his girlfriend Joyce Oldham; his girlfriend's son Jacob Oldham of Brownstown; his daughter Casey Turner of Albemarle, NC; and his sisters, Robin (Jesse Jackson) of Brownstown and Rhonda Turner of Kirbyville, TX. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Ltd. (204 N 4th St, Vandalia, IL 62471).
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
