With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack A. Durbin (Brownstown, Illinois), born in Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on February 26, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth M. Durbin and Dorothy M. Durbin (Allen); his wife Dorothy M. Gibson (Burkhart); and his brother Leslie. He is survived by: his children, John Durbin of Ft. Worth, TX, Justin Durbin (Jessica) of Mulberry Grove, Jeremy and Kenley Durbin (Brandon Owens) of Flora; his sister Janet Sprenger (Bruce); his grandchildren, Kevin, Kenneth E., Marcus, Robert and Abigail Durbin; and his great grandchild Ryker Durbin.

Memorials may be made to Liberty Christian Church, Liberty Cemetery or the donor's choice.

“My wife and I met the Durbin family while pastor at Bethany Church near Brownstown. We spent many hours with the family and loved them all dearly. Though we haven't been around Illinois in years, we have been in contact with Jack via facebook which is how we learned of his death as well as his wife's passing as well. Our prayers are with the family at this saddest of moments. Our thoughts and prayers are with all close to the couple.”
