Darrel E. Sidwell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 90, Darrel E. Sidwell of Brownstown, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie'Doc' Sidwell and Mildred Bertha Sidwell (Harre); his stepdaughter Lynn Ann Wright; his brother Paul Sidwell; and his grandson Jeffrey Allen Sidwell.

He is survived by: his children, Brad Sidwell (Nikki), Greg Sidwell (Debbie), Darrel E. Sidwell II (Michelle) of Cibolo, TX and Jill Wright (Maurice Wilson); his grandchildren, Carrie Sidwell, Ryan Sidwell (Ketra), Sherry Sidwell, Breann Thomason, Salem, Josh Sidwell (Tasha) and Jake Cook of Vandalia; and his stepgranddaughter Amanda Banister (Brian). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
