He is survived by: his mother Rachel Alice Thompson (Reed) of Dale, Illinois; his children, Jamie Perkins of North Carolina and Kandy Birdsong of North Carolina; his brothers, Oval Royse (Sue) of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Blaine Royse (Patricia McDaniel); his nieces and nephews, Allen Royse (Sandy) of Illinois, Flynt Johnson (Rebecca) of Michigan, Austin Royse (Valida) of Jefferson City, Missouri, Brayden Royse of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Daniel Royse of McLeansboro, Kali Royse (Austin) of Herod, David Royse of Broughton and Lamanda Blackburn of McLeansboro; his great-nieces, Jalynn Marler, Sawyer James Royse and Kinsley Johnson Royse; his great-nephew T. J. Blackburn; his aunt Genie Robertson of West Virginia; and his cousins, Amos Robertson, Mickey Robertson, Shirley Robertson and Katie Robertson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stricklin Funeral Home (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
