Robert Fairfield Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2018, at the age of 88, Robert Fairfield (Brookport, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Fairfield and Katie Fairfield (Medley); his son Michael Fairfield; his brothers, Charles Fairfield, Samuel Fairfield and Ralph Eugene Fairfield; and his granddaughter April Cohoon.

He is survived by: his wife Edith Kingsley Fairfield; his children, Marilyn Dassing (Raymond) of Metropolis, Marvin Fairfield (Judy) of Unionville, Mona Webb (Gary) of Metropolis and Meredith Fairfield (Jean) of Cleveland, TN; his daughter-in-law Nina Scheer (Fairfield); and his siblings, Flora Mae Harris of Bourbonnais, IL, Beatrice Fandry of Cleveland, TN, James Fairfield of Stewardson, IL and Roy Dale Fairfield (Peggy) of Brookport. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
