He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Davis and Beulah Swinford Davis; his son-in-law Bonner Leonard; and his siblings, Betty Jordon, Charles Davis and Kenneth Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Hazel Davis; his children, Patti Kineman (Donnie), Johnnie Davis (Kelly Massie-Harris), Jamie Traversy (Ronnie) and Diane Leonard; his grandchildren, Dr. Brian Kineman (Mayen), Adam Kineman (Erin), Josh Kineman (Amanda), Stanley Reed (Joni), Julie Davis, Jensen Davis and Bonner Leonard (Heidi); his brother Vernon Davis (Sharon); and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Davis, Peggy Davis, Nancy Bozsa (James), David Douglas (Ann) and Harry Douglas. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
