With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan L. Smith of Brookport, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis; her sons, Bobby Crawford and Kenny Hudspeth; her siblings, Sandy Cockerill and Danny Snedecker; and her great grandchild Katelyn Suggs.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Joey Hudspeth (Lakain) of Brookport, IL and Kristal Woodruff (Treven) of Brookport; her sisters, Charlene Ray of Louisville, KY and Marie Timberlake of Louisville, KY; her great grandchildren, Blake Suggs, Kandace Suggs, Ryan Woodruff, Bella Burnett, Sophia Burnett and Myla Mae Hudspeth; her great great grandchild Audrey Lynn Suggs; her daughter-in-law Janie Hudspeth (Rondell); her close friend Judy Fitch; and her niece Tammy Rigney (Richard). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
