He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wade, Jr. and Velma Grace Alexander Wade. He is survived by: his daughter Vanessa Gales; his grandchildren, Ja'Kee Curtley, Andrelle Hopkins, Kadyn Gales and Kyler Gales; his great grandchildren, Ariel Curtley and Alayah Curtley; his siblings, Barbara Bailey, Edith Newby, David Wade, Debbie Wade, Judy Wright, Rosalyn Ann Henson and Larry Wade; his aunt Esther Fitzpatrick; and his close friend Rick Gibbs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
