With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Emma Louise Hanak of Brookport, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Emma left this world on June 21, 2024 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Emma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Emma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Flintzer and Harriet Flintzer; her husband Les Hanak; her children, Sharon Nelson (John) and Ted Hanak (Maria); and her son-in-law David Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Hanak (Nancy) and Andrea Douglas. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
