He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Forthman and Bessie Forthman; and his siblings, Murphy Forthman, Ann Kennedy, Frank Forthman, Dorthy Brown, Roger Forthman and Theodore Forthman.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Geraldine Forthman; his sons, William Jr. Forthman (Peggy), Robert Forthman (Cindy), Tony Forthman (Susan) and Adam Forthman (Tiffany); his grandchildren, David Forthman (Susan), Rob Forthman, Jill Seely (Erik), Katie Gentry (Brett), Emily Forthman, Skylor Stephenson, Sarah Forthman, Becky Schweitzer (Josh), Bill Forthman, Jordan Forthman, Bryson Frothman, Brayden Forthman and Brooklyn Forthman; his siblings, Betty Bonner, Pearl O'Brien and James Forthman (Sandra); and his nephew Jerry Brown. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
