She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Burrus, and Lillian Burrus, Jr. (Bloomer); and her siblings, Jackie, Jimmie, Donnie Burrus, Carolyn Galbraith and Norma Varvel.

She is survived by: her children, Darrell Harris, Jr. of Brookport, Shannon Harris of Brookport and Nathan Harris of Metropolis; and her sister Peggy Fairchild (Roy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
