He was predeceased by: his parents, Aleksander and Jadwiga; his brother Stefan; and his siblings-in-law, Zbygniew Szymel (Jozefa) and Boguslawa Russ (late Edward).
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Maxwell, Irena Stransky (Paul), Jan (Rebecca), Richard (Rita) and Stanley Kuntaras (Mary Fran); his grandchildren, Shawn (Elaine), Nicholas, Daniel Maxwell, Anneliese Brooks (James), Alex Stransky, Maggie Kuntaras, Jonathan Stransky, John, Allison and Matthew Kuntaras; his great grandchildren, Emma, Eliza Maxwell, Alexis, Marcus, Josh Sacche, Jacob, Jack and Jessica Brooks; his siblings, Janina and Marya; and his brother-in-law Adam Szymel (late Wanda). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
