With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha P. Chavez of Brookfield, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Martha shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Martha farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rudy F. Chavez, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Rudy Jr. and Michael; her daughter-in-law Maria; her grandchildren, Evita J. Chavez and Xavier Carlin; and her great grandchild Gia Marie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory Sw Corner of Roosevelt (4001 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hursen Funeral Home (4001 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
