It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John V. Bruinsma (Brookfield, Illinois), born in Worcester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 27, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his significant other Claire Pray; his children, Jude Thompson, Julie Sowa and John Bruinsma; his sisters, Adele Gamari and Trudy DuVerger; his grandchildren, Adam McCauley, Amanda Knight and Brandon Bruinsma; his great grandchildren, Ashton, Ava Marie, Heaven and Kaiden; and his parents, Henry P. Bruinsma and Helen H. Bruinsma (Matyszczyk). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
