He was predeceased by: his wife MaryLynn Janetopoulos; his parents, Konstantinos Janetopoulos and Gianoula Janetopoulos; his sisters, Olga Mehalos-Golden (late John Golden) and Dolly Bosik; and his brothers-in-law, Michael J. Onesto, Sr. (Alice) and David A. Onesto (Melissa).
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Janetopoulos (Elena), Joanne Janetopoulos (Rick), James Janetopoulos, Jr. (Julie) and Julie Lauksmen (Jeffery); his grandchildren, Genevieve Janetopoulos, Margaret Janetopoulos, Leonardo Lauksmen, Lilliana Lauksmen and James D. Janetopoulos; and his nieces and nephews, Spencer Mehalos (Mariane), Deno Mehalos (Terry), Kathy Kline (late Jim), Connie (Bob) and Eggersdorf (Udstuen).
