He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan McCabe; his daughters, Ann Stiltner (Brian) and Margaret De Lauriea (James); his grandchildren, Brendan Stiltner, Owen De Lauriea, Grace Stiltner, Nathan De Lauriea and Audrey De Lauriea; and his brother John McCabe (Catherine).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cletus Church (600 W 55th St, La Grange, IL 60525).
