He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Jane Deal; and his siblings, Esther Cline, Irene Frey, John Deal and Helen Deal.

He is survived by: his children, Edward Deal (Barb), Diane Myhre (late John) and Gordon Deal, Jr. (Deborah); his grandchildren, Kimberly Weston (Andrew), Matthew Deal, Elizabeth Weinberg (Michael), Daniel Myhre and Carolyn Deal; and his great grandchildren, Jessa Weston, Michael Weston, Levi Weston and Landon Weston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
