He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann; his son Jeff Kostel; and his brother John Kostelancik (late Emily). He is survived by: his daughter Donna Kostel; his grandchild Ariel O'Brien; his nephews, David Kostelancik (Trish) and Ken Kostelancik (Nancy); and his niece Kathy Zinsser (Jim).
