She was predeceased by: her husband Philippe A. Colin; and her parents, Edward Ralph Kiernicki and Helen Anne Kiernicki. She is survived by: her children, Chuck Colin and Amy Kaczmarek (Steven); her grandchildren, Aubrey and Kyle; and her siblings, Cynthia Abbinanti (late Leo), Ralph Kiernicki (Janet) and Roy Kiernicki (Katherine).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
