Charlene M. Sypien Obituary

We bid farewell to Charlene M. Sypien of Brookfield, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Charlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband LeRoy A. Sypien; her parents, Raymond Boyer and Helen Boyer; her daughter Christine Baskerville (late Joe); her granddaughter Anne; and her siblings, Raymond Boyer and Agnes Boyer.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Sypien and David Sypien (Shelly); her grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Joey, Alex, Nicoletta and Bryan; and her siblings, Sharon LaShure (late Bob), Stephen Boyer and Holly Schaefer (Mark).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2447 Desplaines Ave, North Riverside, IL 60546). A prayer will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (126 Herrick Rd, Riverside, IL 60546). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).

Memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) would be appreciated.
