She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Arrington; her parents, Ida Mae Brannon and Spudge Dukes; her brothers, Larry Dukes and Fred Sheffield; her son Cornelius Humphries; her sister Lela Ann Wilkins; and her aunt Hannah Collins.

She is survived by: her children, Dana Oke, Donna Straughter and Jerrol Humphries.
