With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Schomer of Bristol, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on October 26, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel N. Schomer, Jr.; her parents, Herbert J. DeKing and Margaret DeKing; her parents-in-law, Daniel and Amanda Schomer; and her great-nephews, Eric Fichtel and Zachary Burks.
She is survived by: her daughter Margaret DeKing (Goodendorf); her sister Mary Brummel (Ken) of Yorkville, IL; her nieces and nephews, Missy Burks (Brett), Ken Brummel (Natalie), Margaret Geltz (Tim) and Kris Brummel (Amanda); her sister Joyce Fichtel (Ron) of Hillpoint, WI; her nephew Tim Fichtel (Bobbi); and her niece Sue Fichtel (Sherri Ravenscroft). She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and one great great niece.
