Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elvera Vopat of Bristol, Illinois, born in Gresham, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 99, on April 17, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hinze and Emma Hinze; her husband Denny Vopat; and her son Ricky. She is survived by: her children, Jim Vopat, Pat Rittgers (Brian) and Lori Greiter (Dave); and her sister Leanna Nagel of Seward, Nebraska.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family service will be held Wednesday, April 21 at 10:00 a. m. at St Luke's Lutheran Church in Montgomery, 63 Fernwood Rd, Montgomery, IL 60538.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St Luke's Lutheran Church, or to a charity of your choice in Elvera's name.
