He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harlan Savage and Ruby P. Savage (LaFollette); his wife Sue Savage (McFall); his children, Allison Lee Porter (Brandon) of Brimfield and Matthew Harlan Savage (Ashley) of Brimfield; his grandchildren, Hudson James Savage, Harlan Ford Savage, Miley Vae Porter and Demi Rose Savage; his siblings, Mary Knappen (Ron) of Wisconsin, John Savage (Cindy) of Annawan and Eleanor Murphy (Jim) of London Mills; his half-brother Bruce Holloway of Buda; his sister-in-law Judy Savage; and his brother William "Bill" Savage. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Union Church, Brimfield.
