It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hunter C. A. Matney of Brimfield, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 3, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kegan Slyvester, Emma Comer and Mathis Matney; his grandfather Jerry Comer Sr.; his great-grandparents, Butch and John; and his uncle Jacob Logsdon.
He is survived by: his parents, Allen Matney and Kayla Matney (Comer); his brothers, Leon Matney, Jacob Kiefling, Wyatt Matney and Cole Matney; his grandparents, Annette Klepk (Mark), Tammy Lucas (Rob), Carl Matney (Rebecca) and Patrick Logsdon (Michelle); his cousins, Donna, Bryan and Jeffrey Hickman; and his caregivers, Kris Fairyish and Brenda Neville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles.
