It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Warner Embley of Brighton, Illinois, born in Carrollton, Illinois, who passed away on June 30, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George L. Embley; and his parents-in-law, Abe and Rose Williams. He is survived by: his mother Bernice Embley (Warner); his wife Ruth Williams; his children, Michelle Embley of Jerseyville and Brian Embley (Holly) of Brighton; his grandchildren, Blaine Embley, Anna Embley and Jacob Dixon; and his brother Mark Embley (Brenda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Brighton Betsey Ann Fire Protection District, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, or First Baptist Church in Jerseyville.
