He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Tony Monroe, Cathy Monroe of Brighton, Steven Monroe of Alton and Stephanie Monroe of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Rebecca Tobin, Stephen Monroe, Ashley Riegert (Michael), Scott Monroe, Karissa Hill (John), Antonio Monroe, Cody Monroe, Bella Monroe and Christian Monroe; his great grandchildren, Thayer Riegert and Holden Riegert; and his father Steven Janoski.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marquette Catholic High School or St. Ambrose School.
