We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2020, Sylvester Majka of Brighton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandson Hunter Kostiuk; his parents, Walter S. Majka and Frances W. Blazewski Majka; and his brother-in-law Michael Augustiniak. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Augustiniak Majka; his children, Denise Gaylord (James), Lisa Padilla (Pablo), Laura Kostiuk (Scott) and Robert Majka (Christine Verran); his grandchildren, William Gaylord, John Gaylord, Eric Kostiuk, Tyler Padilla, Mateo Padilla, Shan Majka and D. J.; his sister Janice Cherry (late Richard); and his siblings-in-law, Max August (Diane) and Ruth Smego (John).

PLEASE NOTE THAT COVID19 RESTRICTIONS FOR MAXIMUM GATHERING: 50 PERSONS AT A TIME AT FUNERAL HOME, 150 PERSONS AT ST. RITA'S, WILL BE OBSERVED.
