He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Acord and Velia Acord (Morlan); his wife Alta Austin; his children, Tammy Jones (Larry) of Brighton and Bob Acord (Carol) of Brighton; his grandchildren, Matthew Acord (Katie), Chelsea Howland (Drew), Brooke Bosomworth (Matt), Elyse Herring (Fiancé Josh Albert), John Jones and Cassie Hoyt (Cole); and his siblings, Larry Acord, Howard "Rusty" Acord (Elda) and Shelby Acord. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
