He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jean Blackwood, Lee and Helen Newburger. He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Blackwood and Janet Blackwood (Newburger); his brothers, Joseph Blackwood (Tiffany) of St. Charles, MO and Lee Blackwood (Tara Puskar) of Medora; his grandfather Vanas Blackwood; and his nieces, Lily and Payton Blackwood. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or National Kidney Foundation.
