It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Sue Jones of Brighton, Illinois, born in East Alton, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hanfelder and Twila Hanfelder (Ingold); her husband Paul M. Jones; her brother Frank Hanfelder; and her son-in-law James Iler.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Jones of Brighton, IL, Todd Jones (Mary) of Worden, IL, Natalie Jones (Wes Goheen) of Brighton, IL and Addie Jones-Wilkinson (Robert) of Brighton, IL; her grandchildren, Joseph Jones, Jesse Holt, Scarlett Jones-Iler, Samuel Jones, Olivia Jones, Vivian Jones, Alaina Jones, Matthew Wilkinson, Cody Wilkinson, Miranda Wilkinson, Ryleigh Jones and Paul Jones; her great grandchildren, Korbyn Jones, Kane Jones and Lily Jones; her sisters, Cindy Parker of Edwardsville, IL, Sandy Turck (Bob) of Granite City, IL and Candy Hanfelder of Edwardsville, IL; her stepmother Shirley Hanfelder; her mother-in-law Irene Trevino; and her cousin Regina Bracht. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews that she adored, many other children.
