She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Leland, Marcella Bauser, James Carter and Peggy Carter; her uncle Ronald Bauser; and her friends, Audrey Smith of Bridgeton, MO and Andrew Marcuzo of St Genevieve, MO..

She is survived by: her parents, James "Jamie" Carter and Linda Carter (Bauser) of Brighton, IL.; her sister Jennifer "Gigi"; her brother-in-law Eli Gravert of St Louis, MO; her niece Naomi; her grandmother Janette Carter of Cottage Hills, IL; her aunts and uncles, Jay Carter of Alton, IL, David Carter (Monica) of Cottage Hills, Karen Boyd (Shawn) of Alton, IL, Nancy Tague (Matthew) of Normal and Shelley Eichen (Bob) of Godfrey, IL; her cousins, Leslie, Lindsey, Lauren, Kyle, Corey, Josh and Ryan; and her pet Tucker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the St John Henry Newman Center, 512 N. Pacific St. Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 or Shriners Hospital for Children.
