With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Vonnahmen of Brighton, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vonnahmen and Elizabeth Vonnahmen (Gissler); his wife Cecelia Born; and his sister Mary Elizabeth Wuellner. He is survived by: his children, Jane Gibbons (Mike) of O'Fallon, MO, Susan Beer of Louisville, KY, Mary Kay Gibson (Roger) of East Alton, Jeff Vonnahmen (Rhonda) of Brighton and Robert Vonnahmen (Darienne) of Brighton.
Memorials may be made to Masses at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Brighton, Brighton Fire Department, or Club Paws.
