It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome T. Vonderheidt of Brighton, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Talford Vonderheidt and Ilah Vonderheidt (Wood); his wife Maurine Knigge; and his siblings, Joann Gibbs (Ted), Mary Helen Vonderheidt and James Vonderheidt (Sharon).
He is survived by: his children, Natalie Garrison (Todd) of Rosewood Heights, Jerome Vonderheidt (Dody) of Brighton and Teresa Leggett (Rob) of Medora; his grandchildren, Steve Garrison (Terry), John Garrison, Greg Garrison, Laura Retzer, Elizabeth Retzer (Paul Stewart), Zach Retzer, Nicky Vonderheidt, Hannah Burnett (Alex), Gerri Ann Geoghagan (Jake), Deric Vonderheidt (Brittany), Destiney Vonderheidt, Brett Leggett, Matthew Lahey, Shelby Peterson (Glenn), Diane Baumgartner (Ryan), Jacob Leggett (Ashley), Rachel Lahey (Wade McGee), Brandy Croquart (Joseph), Karlena Lahey and Whitney Lahey; his great grandchildren, Drake, Lindze, Haidn, Magnus, Emma, Aubrey, Madison, Rylee, Karter, Kynsley, Roland, Brooklynn, Jerry, Ayden of Zoey, J. J., Sandra, Sophia, Evan, Ryan, Celia, Glenn, Chase, Bailey, Kylie, Emmalyn, Emmett, Easton and Eliza; and his sisters, Dorothy Link (Clifford) and Sally Luker (Rick). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
