She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frank and Jane Sweet Shields (Ketchum); and her siblings, Joyce Smoot and Herman Shields. She is survived by: her son Steven Tucker (Susan) of St. Louis; her grandsons, Nathan Tucker (Cammie), Jason Tucker (Ali), Tim Tucker (Fiancé Alyssia Ramirez) and Brian Tucker; and her great grandchildren, Alexis, Nathan, Jacob, Bonnie, Isabella, Madison and Everett. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice in Janet's name.
