With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Gansz of Brighton, Illinois, born in Brussels, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Roy" Gansz and Zella Gansz (Meyers); his siblings, Virginia Klocke, June Nolle, Howard and Homer Gansz; and his brother-in-law Jon.
He is survived by: his children, Herman E. "Gene" Gansz (Sylvia) of Norfork, AR, Sandra K. Kinzie (Russ) of Elgin, OK, Karen Rene Rowe of New London, IA, Michael John McAfee of Alton and Melissa Hagen (Mick) of Godfrey; his sister Rayceal; and his siblings-in-law, Herb Klocke of Prairietown and Shirley Gansz of Hardin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Baptist Church or Mooseheart Child City.
