She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Young and Bessie Young (Everhart); her siblings, Paul Young Jr. and Donna Young; and her grandson Jacob L. Dey.

She is survived by: her children, Shannon Dey (Dennis) of Brighton, Matthew David VanCuren (Julie) of Litchfield and Francine VanCuren of Taylorville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
