He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Sancamper and Delah Sancamper (Jouett); and his brother Ted Sancamper. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Todd; and his siblings, Susan Fredrich (DJ) and Robert Sancamper (Becky). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to New Horizons Band or Siteman Cancer Center.
