He was predeceased by: his parent John Sebastian; his brothers, Larry Sebastian and Meredith Sebastian; his father-in-law Claude Strowmatt; and his brother-in-law Carroll Strowmatt.

He is survived by: his parent Sadie Sebastian (Welch); his spouse Rosemary "Rose" Strowmatt; his mother-in-law Verna Strowmatt of Cottage Hills; and his brothers-in-law, Millie Sebastian of Jerseyville, Glenna Walsh, Roy Walsh of Kane, Regina Walters and Paul Walters of Alton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
