He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cloninger and Lula Cloninger (Boes); his wife Sandra Clare; and his siblings, Robert Cloninger (Amelia), Frances Nichols (John), Charolette, Barbara Ervan (Jim), James Cloninger (Marylou), Carolyn Wild (Bob), Marilyn Hayes (Orvel) and Joyce King (Myron).
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Arnold of Brighton and Melissa Milligan (Gary) of Brighton; his grandchildren, Bradley Arnold, Christy Varble (Andy), Matthew Milligan (Jamie) and Chelsey Witkowski; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Leighton, Lydia, Layla, James, Lainey and Lillian; and his siblings, Edward Cloninger (Retha), Marsha Meyers (John) and Diane Abbott (Jay).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson Family Funeral Home (501 W Center St, Brighton, IL 62012). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
