Diana Dawn Barks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diana Dawn Barks of Brighton, Illinois, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Lee and Judy Kay McElroy (Fatchet). She is survived by: her husband John Eugene Barks; her stepchildren, John Barks of Cottage Hills, IL, Tim Barks of Alton, IL, Vickie Barks of Savanah, GA and Justin Barks (Amy) of Cottage Hills, IL; her brother Don McElroy (Lynn); and her nephews, Jake and Cody McElroy.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Family Funeral Home (501 W Center St, Brighton, IL 62012). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Miles Station Cemetery.
