David Watkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2021, at the age of 76, David Watkins of Brighton, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Melvin and Floy Maxeiner (Schallenberg); and his sisters, Beverly and Barbara. He is survived by: his significant other Veda Mae (Maxeiner); his children, Justin Watkins, Ranae Vancil (Mike) of Granite City, IL and Michelle McRoberts (Eric) of Granite City, IL.; his brothers, Ken Watkins (Chris) and Tom Watkins (Carol); and his grandchildren, Rhett Miller Sr. (Crystal), Ryne Miller, Kimberlee McRoberts, Raven Zeigler, Dawson Vancil, Harley McRoberts, Nicholas McRoberts, MaKyla Vancil and Maitlin Vancil. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
